Last night Troy took Timothy outside to play a few minutes before we headed to the DQ. Well, a few minutes turned into a good 45 minutes and a change in our DQ plans (I brought the ice cream home instead.)
Much to our surprise when we asked Timothy if he was ready to go get an ice cream treat he replied, "I still playing." Now this might be a normal statement for many children, but Timothy really likes to eat. And he really likes ice cream. So to hear him put off ice cream several times was a first! It was fun to see him having so much fun playing on a beautiful summer evening.
(The choice of the doggy hat was entirely Timothy's! We really don't insist on winter hats in June!)
