Another year, another birthday celebration. I had the day off, which was sort of nice, but turned out to be a little isolating. I did my regular chores of laundry and grocery shopping. I was hoping to walk with a friend, but she was sick. I did take a walk and despite being windy, it was pretty nice out. Teresa had a doctor appointment in the afternoon. (Which looking back at past years, it seems appointments on my birthday has become a regular thing!) I did go shopping at Kohls for some new running shoes.
For dinner we went out for pizza at a place with deep dish pizza. The food was good, but it was a sort of long wait for the food and a bit loud in the restaurant. At home Teresa and I put on a movie and I had some cake. It was a pretty low key evening. But we did spend some time as a family discussing some current events.
