Easter morning began with a run at heritage trail. Teresa wanted to run before the rain. She did her first 2 mile run! Troy even came along even though he rarely runs anymore. It was actually pretty nice out with little wind.
We went to worship at 10:30. We had hoped to do an outing after church to the arboretum, but the rain had already started. So instead, we just went home and the kids opened their Easter gifts.
No egg hunt this year. I just put a litte candy in their Easter buckets along with a few gifts and some extras from grandma.
The day was pretty low key. It was raining outside, so a nice day to stay cozy indoors. I enjoyed a bubble bath and a little nap. Troy worked on vacation planning. Teresa redecorated her room. And Timothy relaxed and took a nap. We had our Easter dinner in the evening...ham, lefse, pineapple and green beans. And homemade ice cream for dessert!
