Happy Valentine's Day! I just got done looking back at a few celebrations of the past. And there is quite a lot in common. A special breakfast is a good start to the day. No heart pancakes this year...Just homemade donuts with pink frosting and strawberry smoothie (with no spinach for once...green is not the new pink!)
Both kids were up early. They were excited for their gifts and the each had gifts to give. It is neat to see that the feel the pull to give cards and gifts too. Timothy and Teresa got fun balloons this year and the game Apples to Apples. Teresa gave me a heart box for my special things and Timothy made me a pinch pot. Troy was given a bracelet from Teresa. She also made both of us cards.
Now it is off to school where they have to suffer through a whole normal day until it is time for Valentine fun in the afternoon. Teresa is giving out puppy card and Timothy is handing out Pokemon cards. I am sure they will have a fun day.
Such a fun day to share with my family just how much I love them!
