Graduation. Wow. In some ways it seems like the years have sped by, and in others it seems like it went slowly getting through certain years or classes. But he made it! I couldn't be any more proud of this young man. His persistence, and hard work got him through some ups and downs. And he was always keeping Troy and I just a little bit on our toes...pushing this boundary or that, quizzing us on the teenage slang, procrastinating to the last minute only to prove he'd done what he promised. He is a good kid and he deserves to celebrate all his accomplishments!
The obligatory pictures...thankfully we did it before the graduation as it was chaos after the ceremony.
We are thankful that my mom and Troy's sister were able to come down and be a part of the weekend. It really made the celebrations feel extra special.
Getting ready to Graduate.
The class of 2026!
They graduated!
The next day we had a party at our house in the afternoon. Troy really liked the yard sign. We had food inside and space to hang out inddors and outside as well. It was pretty nice weather. Not too hot and a little cloud cover. We had a good turn out of friends and neighbors.
Before the party got going, father and son had a celebratory smoke!
Timothy's friends were the first to come and the last to leave. We were so glad to see him supported by such a good group. He was so happy this weekend and that was so fun to see. Timothy is an amazing son and I can't wait to see where the future leads him!
