Beyond Timothy's development, much has changed for Troy and me. We are now living in North Dakota, not New Jersey. (Timmy's a Dakota boy now!) I even gave up my Minnesota residency. (And the MN plates on my car.) Troy is pastoring and I am staying home. (And we are both trying to convince others that we are fairly normal people despite being a pastor and pastor's wife!) We bought a house, so now Timothy has his own bedroom (and a real crib) and I have my own washer and dryer. (No more quarters needed to do laundry. Hurray!) We are acquiring new homeowner skills--lawn care, landscaping, refinishing windows, fixing fridges. (And naively hoping we won't have to learn much about snow removal come winter.) We are eating a lot of ice cream--the result of living away from a Dairy Queen for four years. (Blizzards are great!)

As much as things change, there are always things that stay the same. Timothy still has his adorable smile and infectious giggle. He still has his milk belly and chubby little legs. He still tries to convince people that he never cries. (Mommy and Daddy know better!) Troy and I still enjoy running and being outdoors. I still find things to keep busy like scrapbooking, crocheting and trying new recipes. (Apple recipes this fall--we have an apple tree!) Troy still loves a steaming hot cup of Starbucks coffee and a Saturday morning with nowhere to go. Life is good and we still thank God for all these blessings.

I can't believe that Timothy is 9 months old! Where has the time gone? He is adorable!
Looking forward to keeping up with your family!
