Two weeks in MN

After our cabin stay we spent two weeks with my family as we awaited our move to Iowa.  Our time was filled with lots of fun activities, cousin time, pool time and finished up with my brother's wedding.  Below are some picture highlights of our stay.
We spent several days with kids' cousins.  We spent a day at their house and enjoyed some snow cones from Auntie Lisa.  And they came to our house (my parents' house) a few times too.  There were several pools out to play in and they had so much fun playing together.
Timothy and Teresa got dressed up for the 4th of July.  I even got Teresa into a dress!  We spent the day with family celebrating the 4th and summer birthdays too.
The kids spent many a day in the pool.  At one point my dad had three pools up.  One for every size of grand kid!  The biggest one was big enough for a little jumping in.  Both Timothy and Teresa enjoyed that.  Several days the kids were out in the pool by 9 in the morning and not out until 5pm (with a little lunch/nap break).  Timothy even chose the pool over playing at a playground.
My mom hooked us up with some great coupons.  One for a inflatable bouncy place.  And another for unlimited rides at Como town at the zoo.  We took the two younger cousins with us and the had so much fun.  The little girls were only tall enough for three rides, but it was still fun.  The boys had a blast on the cars and frog hopper and fire truck ride.  We had a picnic lunch and ended the afternoon with cotton candy!

The kids spent lots of time just playing.  Timothy taught himself how to play a new video game during our visit.  Teresa read her stack of books and played with animals.  In the picture she is trying her wedding shoes on her kitty.
While we were there, I got to meet my newest little nephew.  Mattias was born two days before the big wedding.  Perfect timing, although he was pushing it a little for his mommy!  It was fun to visit him in the hospital.  This was only my second nephew I could meet when he was so tiny.
We had a great time during our two weeks.  The kids and I were glad for a home base while Troy commuted to Iowa to work.  I was lucky enough to see a good friend of my during our time and we also got to see some friends form GF too.  We were thankful for the great hospitality!
