Where did June go???

June was a full and busy month for us.  Timothy got of school and we had one week before VBS started and we had visitors.  My brother and his family came to crash with us for the week of VBS.  The cousins joined us in the morning and then we had adventures around Dubuque in the afternoons.

Troy was more a or less a co-director for VBS leading the opening and closing sessions.  I was in charge of the experiments which replaced crafts.  It was a busy week, but fun for all the kids.  I was happy to survive the week though!

Some of our adventures with the cousins were Jumpin Janes. Maqouketa Caves (which were very muddy), riverfront and Eagle Point park, and just playing in our back yard.

When the cousins left on Saturday we went full speed ahead into packing.  We planned to leave for our summer adventure the next day.
